About Us

History
Today Century Mold is primarily an injection molding supplier to the OEM Automotive and Heavy Truck industry. Century Mold manufactured parts can be found on over 70% of the light vehicles and 85% of the heavy trucks manufactured in North America. In order to survive today's demanding marketplace, we have and will continue to invest in the latest equipment such as electrical presses, RJG sensors and robots. Outside the automotive market, Century Mold is beginning to grow into military products and consumer products and welcomes any new opportunities. Whether it is automotive, non-automotive, or a possibility of metal to plastic conversion, we will be happy to discuss your needs.

Century Mold Co., Inc. got its start in 1978 by designing and building tools for metal parts being converted into plastic. With the approach of scientific molding and the purchase of a few molding machines, the company branched into full production.

By 1993, Century Mold had developed a customer base in the South and expanded its operations to Shelbyville, TN. In 2005, Century Mold opened manufacturing operations in Middletown, OH to service the needs of the customer base located in this geographic region. In 2006 Century Mold acquired and expanded a manufacturing facility in Chihuahua, MX as well as opened a Sales and Engineering office in Detroit, MI.

Continuing to grow, we now have five locations between the United States and Mexico.

Our on-site design and mold making capabilities allow us to turn your concept for a new or improved part into a prototype or production mold in the shortest practical time. We can handle the most demanding schedules.

Our involvement in the prototype phase allows us to provide faster, more efficient solutions throughout production and development.

• More than 75 injection-molding machines give us the capability to handle production orders of virtually any size.

• High capacity, state-of-the-art electric and hydraulic presses accommodates molds for large components and multi-cavity molds for high volume runs of small-to-medium size components.

Quality is foremost at every stage of product development. You can count on us for the very latest in process monitoring systems…and careful checking of finished components to ensure conformance to specifications.
