Job Title: Process Set-Up Tech

Century Mold, a leading North American Automotive plastics supplier, is looking for a Process Set-Up Technician to fill an immediate opening. Duties include installing molds into injection molding presses and setting and monitoring process parameters to ensure a good part is produced.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Install/Remove molds per the startup instructions
- Set and monitor process parameters
- Work with Quality, Engineering, and Tool Room to ensure machine is producing desired part
- Troubleshoot the process when parts are not acceptable
- Install/Remove peripheral equipment (end-of-arm-tooling, chutes, conveyors, etc.)
- Provide operator assistance as required
Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or equivalency (G.E.D); or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have basic knowledge of materials and the injection molding process.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Special vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
